The Cowboys spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Wyatt Milum, the No. 36 name on the board, in the Round 7 slot. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
They barely believed it either: Ashton Jeanty still on the board at the 44th pick. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Cam Ward at pick 46 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The roster fit checks out.
Steal is underselling it; Nick Emmanwori at the 76th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
The board fumbled Armand Membou all the way to Round 5, Pick 11, and they scooped it up. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They will replay Walter Nolen at pick No. 178 for years; that is how good the value is. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Savion Williams at the Round 6 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Somehow Tre Harris was still sitting there in No. 211, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
