A solid, sensible weekend for the Cardinals: B-.

There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a blindside protector at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Kaleb Johnson. It fills a real need, too.
Deontae Lawson at the 83rd overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The roster fit checks out.
Jihaad Campbell in slot 120 is fair value, right on his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
No edge and no loss on Donovan Edwards in Round 5, Pick 18; it is a wash and a sensible one. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They took Azareye'h Thomas at par in pick 195, which is nothing to complain about. A minor need, but a need all the same.
