The Raiders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Little to argue with here, and the A says so.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The Haulcy pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.

Arvell Reese at the Round 1 slot is money in the bank, a linebacker taken below his worth. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
In slot 28 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.
Nice patience on Jordyn Tyson, who had no business lasting to pick No. 36. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Ty Simpson at the 38th overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Blake Miller is a better player than Round 2, Pick 27 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Value with a capital V on A.J. Haulcy in No. 67, a genuine coup. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
