When a board-topper like Dwight McGlothern slides to slot 223, you do not overthink it, and the Chargers did not. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The Bell pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Dwight McGlothern in No. 223 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They did well to land Edefuan Ulofoshio in the Round 7 slot, just ahead of his grade. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
