Call it larceny. Barrett Carter sat on the board until pick No. 160, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Reaching for Igbinosun left real value on the table behind him.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
