You build a draft on nights like this. Sonny Styles had no business being available in the 188th pick, and the Seahawks did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with linebacker the one that mattered most.
Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

In pick No. 32 they get a bell-cow for the offense, and a steal at that. A real need, handled.
Arvell Reese at the 64th pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A cornerback of that caliber at Round 3, Pick 32 is the definition of value, full stop. It adds depth where they could use a little.
They will replay Sonny Styles at the 188th overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
