It is the swing that defines the weekend: Ty Robinson in the 78th pick, a good 89 spots before the room expected him. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.
However the rest shakes out, Porter at that price is a win they earned. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 16 they get protection for the quarterback, reach and all. The biggest hole, addressed.
Value said wait; Jaxson Dart in the 47th pick says they were not listening. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Ty Robinson at pick 78 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
The board fumbled Darien Porter all the way to No. 113, and they scooped it up. A minor itch, scratched.
They reached into another round for Ja'Corey Brooks, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
