For all the boxes ticked, the Cowboys skipped the loudest one: wide receiver is exactly as bare as it was. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it. A fair-value weekend of trading, no edge to be found.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
