Every other box got a look, but wide receiver did not. The Cowboys will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Melton. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 24 they get an anchor for the offensive line at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jonathon Brooks at slot 56 is the proof. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They read the board right and Max Melton was the payoff at the Round 3 slot. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
