Miami Dolphins

Grand theft in the 110th overall pick: the Dolphins steal Bullock and grade out a B.

Future B-

You build a draft on nights like this. Calen Bullock had no business being available in the Round 4 slot, and the Dolphins did the only sane thing and turned in the card. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The Harrell reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.25 · Pick 25 · Byron Murphy II · DL · rank 17
In pick 25 they get a disruptive interior force at a price that makes it sweeter. Exactly the need they had to hit.
R2.30 · Pick 62 · Cooper Beebe · OG · rank 47
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Cooper Beebe at pick No. 62. A need, and now a little less of one.
R3.28 · Pick 91 · Max Melton · CB · rank 76
A slide stopped in the Round 3 slot, with Max Melton worth more than the price. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
R4.10 · Pick 110 · Calen Bullock · S · rank 83
The board fumbled Calen Bullock all the way to the 110th pick, and they scooped it up. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
R4.22 · Pick 122 · Sataoa Laumea · OT · rank 113
Sataoa Laumea is a better player than No. 122 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
R5.33 · Pick 169 · Dylan Laube · RB · rank 157
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Dylan Laube at Round 5, Pick 33 is the proof. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R6.9 · Pick 184 · Jaylen Harrell · DE-EDGE · rank 208
Value said wait; Jaylen Harrell in slot 184 says they were not listening. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
R6.23 · Pick 198 · Logan Lee · DL · rank 211
Logan Lee at the 198th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R7.8 · Pick 228 · Garret Greenfield · OT · rank 216
Nice patience on Garret Greenfield, who had no business lasting to No. 228. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R7.21 · Pick 241 · Bub Means · WR · rank 245
They took Bub Means at par in slot 241, which is nothing to complain about. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
