The Dolphins ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
Williams at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Barner has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Pick-by-Pick
No edge and no loss on Tyler Guyton in Round 2, Pick 3; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They paid sticker price for Zach Frazier in pick No. 55, and that is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Cooper Beebe in pick 64 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It fills a real need, too.

They will replay Miyan Williams at No. 239 for years; that is how good the value is. A need, and now a little less of one.
