Boards are made to be trusted, and the Dolphins shredded theirs for Drew Kendall. He came off 83 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
On value alone, Mukuba makes the weekend a net positive. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Jack Sawyer at the Round 1 slot is the proof. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
You do not let a tight end like Tyler Warren reach No. 48 and blink. They did not. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They talked themselves into Donovan Jackson at the 51st pick, and the board did not agree. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Tate Ratledge at pick 56 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
