Pick-by-Pick
In the 26th overall pick they get a lockdown presence outside, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Jackson Powers-Johnson at the Round 2 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. It fills a real need, too.
Edgerrin Cooper in slot 57 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Kamren Kinchens in pick 58 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
The board had Johnny Wilson higher than pick No. 89, and the wide receiver fell to them anyway. A need, and now a little less of one.
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jarrian Jones. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.

They jumped the gun on Nathaniel Watson, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Trevor Keegan at pick 251 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
