Nobody had John Emery Jr. this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 97 spots to get him at No. 246.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Phillips.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Spending an early pick on linebacker with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

McKinnley Jackson at the Round 3 slot is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
No edge and no loss on Javon Foster in pick No. 125; it is a wash and a sensible one. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
