When a board-topper like Daijun Edwards slides to pick No. 226, you do not overthink it, and the Dolphins did not.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Mahogany has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
