This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Ryan Cooper Jr., the No. 230 name on the board, stolen at the 256th overall pick.
For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Ford pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a seam-stretching tight end at fair value.
JC Latham at pick 37 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It fills a real need, too.
Mike Sainristil at Round 3, Pick 5 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
No drama and no debate, Isaac Guerendo went about where he belonged in the 106th pick. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Frank Gore Jr.. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They will replay Ryan Cooper Jr. at the 256th pick for years; that is how good the value is. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
