The rest of the league had time to spare on Walter Rouse; the Chiefs did not wait, grabbing him 103 spots ahead at pick No. 178.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Sinnott pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
