The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Lander Barton, the No. 123 name on the board, sitting there at Round 7, Pick 1 like a gift left on the doorstep. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

Every board in the league had Parker lower, and that gap is the story. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
