The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Cam Skattebo, the No. 105 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 1.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.
The Justin Jefferson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
In the end it comes back to Mike Green, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
