For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Eagles walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
However the rest shakes out, Rosemy-Jacksaint at that price is a win they earned. Every board in the league had Sinnott lower, and that gap is the story.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
Kool-Aid McKinstry in pick 22 is fair value, right on his grade. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
No drama and no debate, Junior Colson went about where he belonged in Round 2, Pick 18. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Xavier Worthy at No. 53 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
The board had cheaper options than Ben Sinnott at the Round 4 slot, and it noticed. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A straight-up fair deal on Tykee Smith at pick No. 161, value and slot in agreement. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
By-the-book stuff, Layden Robinson at the 171st overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. A need, and now a little less of one.
Grayson Murphy at slot 172 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint at the 210th pick is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Sheridan Jones in the 225th overall pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Miyan Williams in the Round 7 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
