Boards are made to be trusted, and the Packers shredded theirs for Jalen Sundell. He came off 42 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. It is not that Gray is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first.
That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th overall pick they get a cornerstone up front. A clean fit for the roster.
Chris Braswell at pick 41 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Payton Wilson in Round 2, Pick 26 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Calen Bullock at the Round 3 slot is the proof. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Fair-plus on DJ James, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Daijun Edwards at slot 219. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Jalen Sundell at pick No. 245 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A real head-scratcher, Jaden Shirden in No. 255 is miles ahead of his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
