Nobody had Darrell Jackson Jr. this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 44 spots to get him at pick No. 58. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Hecht. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
