This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Anthony Gould, the No. 142 name on the board, stolen at pick 225. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
The cost of the Frazier reach is exactly the players who went right after him. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 5 they get a go-to option on the outside at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Zach Frazier in Round 2, Pick 5 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It fills a real need, too.
A conviction pick on Blake Corum at pick 69 that the board grades a round light. The roster fit checks out.
Zak Zinter at the Round 4 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
By-the-book stuff, Blake Fisher at the 110th pick squarely in line with his ranking. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.

You do not let a wide receiver like Anthony Gould reach the 225th overall pick and blink. They did not. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Trente Jones in No. 253, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
