For all the boxes ticked, the Packers skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was.

Every board in the league had McCormick lower, and that gap is the story. They banked enough surplus on Sainristil to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
