After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Every board in the league had Boyd lower, and that gap is the story. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
