The one they had to fix is still broken. The Cowboys left wide receiver untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.

Eichenberg has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.31 · Pick 31 · Tyler Guyton · OT · rank 28
In the 31st overall pick they get a cornerstone up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
R2.26 · Pick 58 · Zach Frazier · C · rank 62
Zach Frazier in the Round 2 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R2.31 · Pick 63 · Jaylen Wright · RB · rank 71
Jaylen Wright at Round 2, Pick 31 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R3.24 · Pick 87 · Kris Abrams-Draine · CB · rank 81
Kris Abrams-Draine in pick No. 87 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
R4.26 · Pick 126 · Tommy Eichenberg · LB · rank 145
Tommy Eichenberg in No. 126 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
R5.38 · Pick 174 · Layden Robinson · OG · rank 175
No edge and no loss on Layden Robinson in pick 174; it is a wash and a sensible one. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
