There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Cowboys started one anyway for Tyler Batty, 103 picks ahead of schedule. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The Judkins pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The phones were where this weekend was really won. Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
