Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kevin Winston Jr. got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at Round 6, Pick 37.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
