When a board-topper like Quinshon Judkins slides to pick No. 132, you do not overthink it, and the Chiefs did not.
Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Dart pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
Pick-by-Pick
Nick Emmanwori in the Round 1 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
The board fumbled Omarion Hampton all the way to No. 64, and they scooped it up. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Jaxson Dart in pick 66 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
A linebacker of that caliber at Round 3, Pick 32 is the definition of value, full stop. A need, and now a little less of one.
Quinshon Judkins in the 132nd overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
