The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

That Clark pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The Van Pran pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They will answer for taking TE-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman and safety went begging.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
