Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Patriots spent the Round 6 slot on Bub Means, a name the board had a full 65 spots lower.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The Jackson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
