There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Packers started one anyway for Miles Kitselman, 168 picks ahead of schedule. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.
That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
So much rides on Miles Kitselman that the real verdict is a season or two away.
Pick-by-Pick
Miles Kitselman in the 52nd pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
You do not let a safety like Dillon Thieneman reach the Round 3 slot and blink. They did not. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Tyreak Sapp in the 120th overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Chase Bisontis at slot 160 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It fills a real need, too.
Jakobe Thomas in pick No. 201 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
Steal is underselling it; Josh Cameron at No. 236 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Toriano Pride Jr. in slot 255 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
