The Falcons clearly saw something nobody else did in Aamil Wagner, taking him 123 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. A weekend of give and take that grades a C.
That Clark pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
So much rides on Aamil Wagner that the real verdict is a season or two away.

Aamil Wagner in No. 48 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Good price on Elijah Sarratt in pick No. 79, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
The board fumbled Bud Clark all the way to the 122nd pick, and they scooped it up. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
A slide stopped in the 215th overall pick, with Dalton Johnson worth more than the price. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Nice patience on Kaden Wetjen, who had no business lasting to Round 7, Pick 15. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
