The Packers put a flag in the ground for Drew Allar, 104 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.
On value alone, Jackson Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.
In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
Pick-by-Pick
Drew Allar in pick 52 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A real head-scratcher, Kevin Coleman Jr. in Round 3, Pick 20 is miles ahead of his ranking. A need, and now a little less of one.
Steal is underselling it; Darrell Jackson Jr. at No. 120 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Malik Benson slipping to the 160th overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Ephesians Prysock slid further than he should have, and slot 201 is lovely value for the cornerback. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A quiet steal in pick No. 236: Aiden Fisher for less than the market said. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
They read the board right and Trey Zuhn III was the payoff at slot 255. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
