The Steelers torched the value chart for Taylen Green, taking him 132 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
