No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Texans.

The Texans put a flag in the ground for Demond Claiborne, 92 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.
Rodriguez at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 28 they get a cornerstone up front at fair value.
Blake Miller in pick 38 is fair value, right on his grade. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 2 slot with a little surplus value in Gabe Jacas. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They talked themselves into Demond Claiborne at the 69th overall pick, and the board did not agree. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
The board fumbled Jacob Rodriguez all the way to Round 4, Pick 6, and they scooped it up. A need, and now a little less of one.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Joe Royer in No. 141. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
The board had Rayshaun Benny higher than the 167th pick, and the interior defensive lineman fell to them anyway. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Brent Austin at the 243rd overall pick. A minor itch, scratched.
