There is conviction, and then there is this. The Vikings took Billy Schrauth a full 101 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.
On value alone, Miller makes the weekend a net positive. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
