The Dolphins spent real capital to be 112 picks early on Damonic Williams, and the board is going to hold them to it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B+.
Landing Muhammad that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.
A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

They jumped the gun on Monroe Freeling, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A need, and now a little less of one.
In pick 30 they get a No. 1 receiver at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Dillon Thieneman at slot 47. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Emmanuel Pregnon in No. 49. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Antonio Williams is a better player than the 75th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Value with a capital V on Malachi Fields in the 87th overall pick, a genuine coup. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They reached into another round for Harold Perkins Jr., and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Drew Allar in No. 97, miles early. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A big swing on Parker Brailsford at Round 4, Pick 12, well ahead of any board in the building. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Zane Durant. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A top-tier cornerback at a bargain, Malik Muhammad in the 130th overall pick, plain and simple. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
They will replay Oscar Delp at slot 151 for years; that is how good the value is. The roster fit checks out.
