Call it larceny. Brashard Smith sat on the board until the 154th overall pick, and the Dolphins did not need to be asked twice.

They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Morris pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
