They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Trevin Wallace, 101 picks early at No. 132.
They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
If Xavier Worthy and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 32 they get a difference-maker at receiver, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
No edge and no loss on Kiran Amegadjie in pick 64; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Brandon Coleman at the 95th overall pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They talked themselves into Trevin Wallace at slot 132, and the board did not agree. A need, and now a little less of one.
Myles Cole at No. 159 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Value said wait; Jase McClellan in the Round 5 slot says they were not listening. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Mark Perry in slot 252 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A minor itch, scratched.
