When a board-topper like Nehemiah Pritchett slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Chiefs did not. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
Reaching for Paul left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
