Somebody in slot 238 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while Ryan Fitzgerald, the No. 117 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
The Harris pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 29 they get a go-to option on the outside, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A quiet steal in the Round 2 slot: Aireontae Ersery for less than the market said. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
TreVeyon Henderson in the 79th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.

Garrett Dellinger at Round 7, Pick 32 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
