The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
Every board in the league had Bell lower, and that gap is the story. The phones were where this weekend was really won. Daniels at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 24 they get the face of the franchise at a price that makes it sweeter. A clean fit for the roster.
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get a blindside protector. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A wild overpay on Jeremiah Trotter Jr. in the Round 2 slot, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It adds depth where they could use a little.

No drama and no debate, Mekhi Wingo went about where he belonged in pick 67. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
