The war room fell hard for Brevyn Spann-Ford, and it showed at slot 172: 33 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
The Jonah Jackson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

No edge and no loss on Cole Bishop in slot 156; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A real head-scratcher, Brevyn Spann-Ford in the 172nd pick is miles ahead of his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They talked themselves into Curtis Jacobs at the Round 6 slot, and the board did not agree. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
They let Bru McCoy come to them and pounced at pick No. 249. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
