More right than wrong for the Cowboys, and a B to prove it.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Cowboys spent pick 154 on Alfred Collins, a name most had 49 spots down the list. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Barton. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 26 they get a three-down second-level presence, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
No drama and no debate, Ajani Cornelius went about where he belonged in the 58th overall pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They will replay Lander Barton at the 90th pick for years; that is how good the value is. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They took Jonah Coleman at par in Round 4, Pick 26, which is nothing to complain about. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Value said wait; Alfred Collins in pick 154 says they were not listening. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Tony Grimes at slot 186 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
