The Chiefs spent real capital to be 58 picks early on Gabe Hall, and the board is going to hold them to it. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.
The Hardy pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback and edge rusher went begging. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Bottom line, with JC Latham leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

A want over a need in the 90th overall pick: Khyree Jackson adds a cornerback while quarterback and edge rusher keeps waiting.
They reached into another round for McKinnley Jackson, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
The board had Jaylen Wright higher than the Round 3 slot, and the running back fell to them anyway. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
