They did well to land Rome Odunze in Round 1, Pick 15, just ahead of his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
No drama and no debate, Kris Jenkins went about where he belonged in pick 43. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A quiet steal in the 46th overall pick: Adonai Mitchell for less than the market said. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They took Mike Sainristil at par in No. 69, which is nothing to complain about. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A market-rate running back, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Blake Corum. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
