The Giants ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Every board in the league had Zinter lower, and that gap is the story.

Shaq Mason gives the group a proven body among the projects. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

In the end it comes back to Kool-Aid McKinstry, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
