Call it larceny. Diego Pavia sat on the board until the 255th overall pick, and the Packers did not need to be asked twice. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
Value with a capital V on Colton Hood in No. 36, a genuine coup. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Malachi Lawrence at the 84th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They let Isaiah World come to them and pounced at slot 160. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They took Matt Gulbin at par in the 175th overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A straight-up fair deal on Aaron Graves at the Round 6 slot, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.

Taking Diego Pavia in pick 255 is close to grand larceny; a quarterback that good had no business lasting this long. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
