For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Titans walked out of the weekend still thin at offensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
Landing Trigg that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The Igbinosun pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Good work on the whole, with offensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 4 they get juice off the edge at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Value with a capital V on KC Concepcion in slot 35, a genuine coup. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A conviction pick on Mike Washington Jr. at pick No. 66 that the board grades a round light. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Davison Igbinosun at the 101st overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Michael Trigg in the Round 4 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
The board had cheaper options than Mikail Kamara at Round 5, Pick 4, and it noticed. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Jeff Caldwell at Round 6, Pick 3 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It fills a real need, too.
Jalen Huskey in the 225th overall pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
